"Regretting My Decision to Partner with This Company"
I ended up signing a year-long contract just to access their software, which turned out to be quite pricey. After digging a bit deeper, I found several other affiliate software options that are way more budget-friendly and provide better returns. Sadly, I'm stuck paying over $300 each month to keep up with the contract since they don’t have a way to get out of it. It’s really frustrating that even after shelling out around $3000 for their software, which didn’t meet my expectations, they refuse to let me cancel early. So, I’d definitely recommend being careful before jumping in with Refersion. Their customer support leaves a lot to be desired, and the tool isn’t nearly as useful as they make it sound. Most of the affiliates that come on board are just coupon sites, and there’s a serious lack of trustworthy affiliates in their network.

"Affiliates: If a merchant won't pay, don't expect action."
Update: After three days, I got a reply from Refersion following my response to the email below. Another representative from Refersion contacted me and looped in the merchant. Since then, this rep has kept me in the loop and has tried reaching out to the merchant for me. Sadly, the merchant hasn’t said a word. I really appreciate the updates and efforts from Refersion, and I’m glad they decided to take some steps. Still, I think there ought to be a failsafe to stop merchants from just ignoring their affiliates and Refersion. Maybe they could have a card on file or hold a deposit? For now, I’ll just wait and see what unfolds, but I’m happy to say that Refersion has taken some initiative.

I started as an affiliate for a company that uses Refersion. Everything was going great until it was time for me to get paid. I checked the merchant's terms of service and confirmed I had met the payout threshold and the payout dates for the month. I reached out to the merchant to ask about the payment delay, but they didn’t respond. So, I turned to Refersion for help.

In their email, a Refersion rep mentioned: "Unfortunately, Refersion cannot facilitate or process owed payments. Each merchant independently determines payments, terms, and payment schedules, and the resolution of funds must be handled directly between merchants and their affiliated partners." It seems like a merchant can just decide not to pay affiliates for their work, and Refersion thinks that’s okay without offering any help. They didn’t even suggest contacting the merchant for me.

Refersion, your credibility relies on the companies you partner with. While I get that you can’t force payments, it’s not right to just sit back and do nothing, without any notifications or consequences for a merchant’s shady practices. This partnership among Refersion, merchants, and affiliates should be a three-way street. How can it be acceptable for affiliates to be treated poorly?

"Beware of DROPSHIPFORSALE: A Warning About This Company"
This company works with DROPSHIPFORSALE.COM. They owe me more than $500, and even after reaching out to both Refersion and Dropshipforsale, I keep getting the runaround and haven’t seen a dime. I really recommend steering clear of doing any business with these folks. They want you to bring in customers, make content, and promote their services, but when it comes to paying up, they just won’t do it. Here we are in November 2021, and I’m still waiting for the cash that’s rightfully mine. This is definitely a scam alert! If they were on the up and up, I would’ve been paid by now.

"Not a fan of this product."
They asked for my credit card info to start the free trial. But when I noticed there was no way to cancel my subscription in the account settings, I figured it just wasn't right for me. Even after sending several emails to their support, I never got a reply. Now, I'm just sitting here wondering if they'll hit my credit card once the trial wraps up. I'd say be careful if you're thinking about dealing with this company.
